2. Driving Impressions,
Improved audio quality:
yes, my aftermarket sub hits much harder than it used to. I dont have to put the volume as loud and the sound is pretty crisp so I did notice this
Increased torque and response and power:
It could just be in my head but the car feels a bit faster. Let me explain, in my car and every automatic i have ever driven, there is a lag of time between the time you "floor it" and the engine reacts. This seems to have almost completely gone away. Power on the interstate (driving from speeds of 60-100mph... yep thats how we drive in florida) is better because it seems like the car is better able to speed up from 60 to 70 or 80 to 90, etc. When it comes to torque, going up hills (there arent many here) seems to be a bit less of a workout for the little QG.
Stabilized idling and improved engine kick over:
Idle is great though it was never rough and engine turns right on so no problems before or after in this department
Increased headlight brightness:
ever so slightly brighter... noticed my turn signals were brighter when i unlocked my car last night with the keyless entry
Improved fuel economy:
No results on this yet, if there seems to be interest in the thread i will post results. Right now with my CAI and mix of hwy and city driving i get about 28mpg so i am hoping for 30ish... i will keep you posted
